JOB TITLE: Account Director

 

JOB PURPOSE: The Account Director plays a pivitol role in the strategic direction and growth of our largest  B2B media account.  They provide a well informed, strategic plan for our clients to attract and retain customers, increase brand recognition, and maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty using multpile channels and touchpoints.

 

The Account Director will have oversight of the day-to-day management of client accounts alongside the brand’s overall media strategy in the context of changing marketplace conditions and opportunities, focusing on key client objectives and best practice.

 

REPORTING TO: Head of Activation

 

LOCATION: London (Hybrid working – Tuesday & Thursday in the office)

 

What does the role involve?

  • Develop strategic solutions for clients, to create the frameworks which deliver clients KPI’s.
  • Coordinate brief responses, cross-media strategies and media plans.
  • Deliver end-to-end management and execution of digital initiatives across PPC, and paid social
  • Ensure campaigns stay aligned to the clients commercial and brand objectives as outlined in the agreed brief.
  • Successfully manage and guide the relationship between several senior stakeholders, understanding business goals and objectives while translating the bigger picture to the agency and internal teams.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders on new business opportunities articulating and tailoring our services to find the best solution.
  • Build strategic and senior client relationships to enhance client satisfaction, delivery innovative campaigns and upsell products, services and tools.

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Proven experience of managing complex B2B accounts and internal client stakeholders at a variety of experience levels and personalities.
  • International multichannel digital marketing experience.
  • Capable of modelling and budgeting/forecasting and planning and communicating the rationale behind those plans.
  • Team management is a must at this level as well as the ability to organise teams against projects and goals.
  • As comfortable presenting data as they are working with data. We are a data-driven organization as are our clients.
  • Practical knowledge of digital marketing platforms, web analytics platforms and how to get the most out of them a must.
  • Entrepreneurial, self- motivated, organized, level-headed. Inspires confidence in both their colleagues and their clients.
  • Lead the planning function for new business pitches and deliver the overall media planning and strategy in conjunction with the cross functional teams.
