The Team
Andy Stevens
Chief Operating Officer
Starting his digital career in 1995, Andy was integral to the creation of Publicis Group's first Digital business. Since then he's launched blue chip web presences for HP, Cable & Wireless and Nat West, amongst others.
Andy founded uniquedigital as an independent company in 2001, taking brands such as Barclaycard, Barclays, First Choice and both William Hill and Ladbrokes online. In 2007 he sold Unique to Syzygy, joining the Group Management Board as Chief Operating Officer.
Most recently he has worked with Mazda, Avis, Sky, Shop Direct, Deutsche Bank and Bloomsbury.
Mark Ellis
Managing Director
Mark has 17-years digital marketing and new business experience, advising blue-chip brands on using digital channels to grow their business revenue, brand fame and profitability.
He's worked on UK, pan-European and global strategies, for clients including Boots, Hasbro, Eurostar, BT, P&G, Volvo, Sainsbury's, GSK, Mazda and Allianz.
Mark's projects have included everything from complex e-commerce platform integration, to campaign microsites, e-CRM, social media, mobile and Augmented Reality.
Paola Pisacane
European Business Director
Paola is responsible for all aspects of the Mazda relationship, from strategic guidance to delivery. Prior to joining Syzygy, Paola worked as VP Marketing / Group Director for P&G, looking after head&shoulders and Ariel.
Before that, she spent four years at Euro RSCG 4D Digital, where she handled Reckitt-Benckiser, IBM Europe, Intel and Maison de la France (as Client Partner). Paola's international marketing career began in Milano, running Fiat Automotive, Alfa Romeo and Lancia for Grey Interactive.
Before this, she earned an MBA at Bocconi Management School. Paola is fluent in English, French (she has a baccalauréat), Spanish and, of course, Italian.
Victor Sahate
Creative Director
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Victor has gained professional recognition the world over, with more than 40 international awards for global clients such as BBC, O2, Adidas, Mercedes-Benz, Absolut Vodka and Sony.
His awards include 3 from the Cannes Cyber Lions and One Show Interactive, known as the two most important in digital. Victor is one of the founders of Gringo in São Paulo, one of the world's most famous interactive digital agencies. Gringo is today known as the best Brazilian creative agency.
Victor believes every piece of creative work should be strategic and every strategy should be fuelled by creativity.
Fabio Fabrizio
Head of Technology
Fabio is a true Digital Native. For over 13 years, his technical, creative and commercial expertise has kept some of Europe's most demanding agencies, dot coms and clients at the cutting edge of the digital media industry.
Agencies benefiting from his passion for digital include Good Technology, APL Digital, Zentropy Partners and MRM Worldwide. He's developed acclaimed digital experiences and technical architectures for clients as diverse as Island records, Chrysalis, Mini, Compaq, Nestle', Microsoft and Intel. He has managed Syzygy's internationally renowned development team since 2007.
John Bennett
Group Strategy Director
John has a diverse background, having worked for agencies, venture-funded mobile startups and ISPs. He's also a published novelist and has written for radio and TV.
In recent years he's consulted on and launched a number of high-profile social media and digital campaigns for clients including Microsoft, Orange, the Evening Standard and MasterCard.
He's now the Strategy Director for the Syzygy Group, working with Syzygy UK, Hi-ReS! and Unique.
