As a Programmatic Senior Account Executive (Client Servicing), you’ll support the Senior Account Manager in delivering impactful display and social media campaigns in the pursuit of client goals

What does the role involve?

Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering display and social media campaigns across designated areas of business and ensure alignment with media plans and KPIs. 

The role falls broadly into two areas: 

Supporting the senior account team
As a senior account executive, you’ll play a fundamental role in the smooth running of the account. You’ll support with end-to-end project management and activation across other paid media channels (paid search) and act as a liaison between client and internal teams. You’ll manage campaign pacing, budgeting, bid management, tracking and optimisation, as well as supporting your account manager with media planning and forecasting.  

You’ll have a good understanding of paid media best practice and be able to apply it to all aspects of campaign management (as directed by the senior team). And you’ll take ownership of the media planning process by researching and supporting the implementation of client audiences (CRM, offline, analytics, and data management platforms). 

Good communication and management skills are key for this role – part of the job involves managing relationships with 3rd party vendors: DSPs, Social Platforms and Data providers etc.  You’ll also work with other exec-level team members to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of work, including practicing delegation were necessary. 

Client services

This isn’t a back-room role. You’ll be the primary client contact for ongoing projects and campaigns across social and display, ensuring that client requests and queries are actioned in a timely manner. 

You’ll also need well-honed presentation skills so you can effectively present campaign results to the client and answer any questions they might have with confidence.  

What are we looking for?

It kind of goes without saying, but we’re looking for someone who lives and breathes Display or Social. (At this stage, it’s enough to have experience of one channel and desire to learn about the other.)

While you’re not the finished article, you’re well on your way to being an industry expert. We’re looking for someone who takes the initiative, is proactive in their approach and is confident in their ability to bring value to the agency in any number of ways.

For this role, accuracy, efficiency and an ability to meet deadlines are a given – we’re looking for that added little bit of sparkle that sets you apart from the crowd.

Some of the experience we would expect to see for this role includes: 

  • One year to two years online experience minimum within a programmatic display role 
  • Some experience in display campaign implementation and trafficking 
  • Experience of the Google ad stack (CM, DV360, AdWords, GA) and experience with other buying platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn) 
  • An understanding of performance frameworks and styles of reporting.
  • Fluent written and spoken English 
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal teams, clients and other stakeholders. 
  • Agency, Media Owner or Client-Side experience is essential 
  • A maths qualification (GCSE, A Level or international equivalent) is desirable, along with evidence of mathematical competency 
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
