Programmatic Account Manager

As a Programmatic Account Manager, you’ll develop and shape the SYZYGY’s programmatic offering and manage tactical delivery for a small number of the agency’s key accounts.
You’ll continually keep abreast of the programmatic market place and define how the agency should be engaging with new publishers and tech vendors. Managing a team of account managers/executives to deliver clients’ marketing objectives through effective Display execution, you’ll understand how the channel can interplay with other channels such as PPC, SOCIAL & SEO. You’ll work closely with the Head of Display to find new ways of driving efficiencies for the client and revenues for the team

What does the role involve?

  • Help develop the programmatic digital strategy for the agency’s key accounts.
  • Define best practices of how SYZYGY should be working with ad servers, DSPs and DMPs.
  • Identify new programmatic and technology vendors in the market and identify any opportunities to work with them.
  • Work closely with the data team to understand how SYZYGY should be integrating data with programmatic.
  • Develop, manage, and coordinate campaign strategies
  • Present and communicate campaign strategies and report on results to clients
  • Media Planning – working with clients to build strategies for example, retargeting, prospecting, display, mobile, video etc
  • Work with Finance Controller to ensure all internal client team reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Work closely with the Display Account Directors to ensure that client performance is at an optimum level.
  • Ensuring that projects are delivered to agreed deadlines, budgets, and client business requirements.
  • Support the business by contributing to pitch materials and attending new business meetings where relevant.
  • Manage and support team members to effectively manage campaigns, troubleshoot problems and maximise performance.

What are we looking for?

  • University Degree (or international equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2 years either agency or client side in programmatic display.
  • Excellent experience, knowledge and understanding of DSP landscape, advanced attribution (pre-defined and crafted), niche and broad scale publishers, DMP space, across both desktop and mobile.
  • Full understanding of creative media approaches, including dynamic creative application, LPO techniques and creative segmentation strategies.
  • Experience working with DSP’s including AppNexus, DBM, MediaMath, Turn are a plus
  • Understanding of client side analytics packages highly desirable (Omniture, Coremetrics, GA) as well as all major adserving platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Mentoring or management experience is highly desirable.
  • Maths Qualification (GCSE, A Level or international equivalent), along with evidence of mathematical competency.
  • Agency, Media Owner or Client Side experience essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel (Advanced), Word and PowerPoint.
