What does the role involve?

You will support the Account Manager and the team in the creation, implementation and management of digital marketing campaigns. We will provide you with a solid introduction to digital marketing techniques and strategies, coupled with the core communication and management skills that are essential to agency life.

The role fits in to two core areas:

As an assistant, your role is to help out wherever you’re most needed. While you’re just getting started on your digital marketing journey, you’re keen to get into the nitty gritty and understand how campaigns work. From performing day-to-day pacing and optimisations based on client KPIs and prioritisation, to ad server management and trafficking for Display and Social, you want to understand the nuts and bolts and how it all fits together.

You’re confident and up for a challenge, whether that’s creating bespoke reports for clients or delivering presentations for review meetings and internal knowledge share sessions. There’ll be ad hoc research and data analysis, you’ll meet and evaluate vendors and ad tech companies, and generally support the wider SYZYGY team in any way you can.

Learning as you go
In the course of your supporting role, you’ll be learning… All. The. Time. Be the sponge!

Whether it’s how to use industry-leading tools and platforms to create, plan and implement campaigns, or how to gather and present data and research to stakeholders, we expect you to take the initiative, be curious and ask questions.

What are we looking for?

If you’re passionate about digital marketing and you have an analytical mind, this opportunity has been designed for you. We don’t expect you to know everything on your first day, but we are looking for the cream of the crop: real talent with a genuine ambition to deliver extraordinary digital insight.

Some of the skills you’ll need for this role include:

  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Interest in digital marketing and social media savvy
  • Maths / Statistic / Computing / Business qualification is preferable but not essential
